How has heart disease touched you?
I have lost a grandfather to a heart attack and understand the risks heart disease can present within a family. It’s sad to lose a relative to heart disease. Any way to contribute to the advancements of heart disease treatment and prevention is great!
Why is running important to you?
I enjoy running as a way to stay healthy, but also as a way to relax. As strange as it sounds, I find it relaxing after a long or stressful day to get the chance to just zone out and run. It also satisfies a desire to be competitive and reach new performance goals, even if I am just competing against myself.
Motivated? Inspired? Please support Andrew‘s goal with a donation to the AHA!
